Our half-day guided fly fishing trips offer four concentrated hours on the Delaware River with an experienced guide. This option is ideal for first-time fly fishers who want a thorough introduction to the sport, for anglers who are visiting the Catskills with limited time, or for anyone who wants a focused session on a specific stretch of water without committing to a full day on the river.
Half-day trips don't cut corners on the experience. You'll receive the same expert local knowledge, hands-on instruction, and access to productive water as a full-day client. The difference is simply in the time on the water. For many anglers — especially those new to fly fishing — four hours is an ideal amount of time to absorb new techniques, catch fish, and come away energized and excited rather than fatigued.
Half-day trips are also a great way to sample the Delaware before committing to a longer trip. Many of our most loyal full-day clients first came to us for a half-day introduction.
